BLANK2Y - YOUNGBIN
KEYSTONE Entertainment informs us that the member YOUNG BIN has been removed from the group BLANK2Y.

BLANK2Y’s YOUNG BIN is leaving the group following a controversy over an assault on a date.
On February 25, a long article was published on an online community titled “Idol Date Assault“. Author ‘A’ said, “My friend was assaulted by her idol boyfriend while on a date. My friend wrote a statement on February 19th and will be investigated on February 26th” . “A” introduced the idol as an idol who is not very famous, but is loved by a small number of fans.
“A” said, “My friend and idol ‘Y’ have been in a relationship for about three months, and when my friend wanted to leave him, he assaulted her. He grabbed my friend by the collar and dragged her into the alley, pulled out her cell phone, tried to throw it and strangled her until she passed out, people around her helped her out.”
In the meantime, “A” has posted photos and texts of her friend and idol “Y,” as well as texts related to reporting an assault as evidence.
As the article spread, BLANK2Y’s YOUNG BIN started to be mentioned, and later that day Keystone Entertainment released a statement.
Here is the translation of the agency’s press release:
“Hello, we are Keystone Entertainment.
First of all, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and concern to our fans and many others.
Following the confirmation of the facts on the matter raised by a community today, the person involved in the case has been identified as YOUNG BIN, and I would like to talk about the future of Young Bin and the future plans of Blanky.
The company has decided that YOUNG BIN will leave the group, and that BLANK2Y will be active without him for the “KROSS Vol. 2” performance scheduled for today.
Once again, we apologize for causing inconvenience and concern to many people, including fans, due to the issue of member YOUNG BIN.
We’ll do our best to show you BLANK2Y’s growth as an artist.
THANKS.”
BLANK2Y is a nine-member group that debuted with its first mini album “Thumbs Up” on May 24 last year. YOUNG BIN‘s news, which was delivered less than a year after the group’s debut, at a time when it should be focusing on promoting it, is sure to shock fans and audiences alike.
Criticism and support for BLANK2Y continues over YOUNG BIN‘s “date violence controversy”.
BLANK2Y being active for different festivals and preparing its comeback for the month of March.
