JYP Entertainment will host the JYP Publishing audition during the first quarter of 2023 starting today.

JYP Publishing is a copyright management music publishing company established by PARK JIN YOUNG, Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of JYP, and tries to hold auditions every year and find new musical talents. Auditions for the first quarter of 2023 will be divided into four categories: songwriting, topliner, producer and trackmaker to build expertise in each area.
JYP Publishing includes K-pop flagship producer PARK JIN YOUNG, Wonder Girls’ “Why so lonely” producer, DAY6’s “Time of our life” Hong Ji Sang, the lyricist for the artists’ titles of JYP Entertainment such as Twice, Itzy, NiziU, Xdinary heroes Sim Eun Jee and the author of Twice titles “The feels” and “Talk that talk”, NiziU “Poppin’ Shakin’” Lee Woo Min
The audition, which seeks talent to lead the next K-pop trend, allows anyone born after 1997 to apply without restrictions of background, gender or career and participate as an individual or as a team. Applicants can choose from four areas: lyricist, topliner, producer, and trackmaker via JYP Publishing’s audition page (jyppub.com/Audition). The second stage will take place for the number of people selected after the first, and the final winners will be revealed.
Grand prize winners who successfully complete all selection processes will have the opportunity to sign a writer’s contract with JYP Publishing as well as certain prize money. Applications will be possible for approximately one month from the 2nd to the 31st, and details can be found on the JYP Publishing website.
