PEAK TIME: JTBC takes the time to have all the evidence

The production team of JTBC’s audition entertainment program “Peak Time” has expressed its position on the school violence allegations by KIM HYUN JAE.

THE KING

The production team of “Peak Time” announced on March 9 that “we do not intend to defend violence in schools” and underlined: “It takes time simply because we are careful to seize the made so that no one is a bad victim.”

“The two sides are currently in conflict, and the production team is struggling to come to a clear conclusion at this point solely with both sides’ recollections and arguments.”,

it said, adding, “We are doing our best to quickly confirm the situation by asking KIM HYUN JAE’s middle school homeroom teacher, program teachers, friends, and police officers.

The team promised: “We will take reasonable and clear measures according to what will be revealed later“.

A, who previously identified as a former classmate of “Peak Time” cast member KIM HYUN JAE in elementary and middle school, claimed on an online community on March 6 that “KIM HYUN JAE constantly made him feel “ridiculous” and “dirty””.

In the end, A, who couldn’t take it anymore, reported it as school violence, but due to the nature of the island village, the parents knew each other, so it was concluded that “the kids could do that”. He later confessed, “When KIM HYUN JAE was in the group, I thought, ‘I’m going to put up with it,’ but I started feeling nauseous when I saw it reappear.”

KIM HYUN JAE from Sinan, Jeollanam-do debuted as a member of BLACK6IX in 2017 under the name THE KING.
