DK: Second artist for the “Ear-appealing project”
Singer DK (December) evokes memories with “발걸음”.
On March 23, SUMMIT said, “Singer DK will participate as the second artist in the ‘Ear-appealing Project‘ and release 발걸음 on March 30.”
The “Ear-appealing Project” is an original remake series that adds a special connection to an artist who sings with his energy and musicality a title already known and appreciated by the public. Bringing new life to a title that is already in people’s memories.
Earlier, debut artist Kim Yeon Ji remade See Ya’s “Lovely sweet heart” as a solo song for the first time in 16 years, giving it a different “greeting.”
DK, who was selected as the second vocalist, is set to perform Emerald Castle’s “발걸음” again.
Released in 1997, “발걸음” is a rock ballad that conveys the feeling of a man who went through a breakup with an explosive voice, and who is still loved 26 years after its release.
Production company SUMMIT said, “‘발걸음’ is a song that became the reason for launching the ‘Ear-appeling Project’,” adding, “Please look forward to DK’s performance, with a masterpiece legendary that stimulates the sense of karaoke challenge and a singer with extremely high notes.“
The second sound source “발걸음” from the “Ear-appeling Project” that DK participated in will be released on various online music sites at 6 p.m. KST on March 30.
