KIM HIMCHAN
The second trial of HIMCHAN, a former member of the group B.A.P., indicted for forced harassment, will take place today.

On the morning of May 17, HIMCHAN’s second hearing will be held at the Seoul Western District Court.
HIMCHAN is accused of forcibly assaulting two women on April 17 last year on the stairs outside a bar in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. At the first hearing in April, he admitted all charges and said he was trying to reach an agreement with the victims.
HIMCHAN was sentenced to 10 months in prison for forcibly assaulting a woman in her twenties at a boarding house in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, early in the morning of July 24, 2018. The court arrested HIMCHAN in court, saying he there is a risk of destruction of evidence and leakage. At that time, three men and three women, including HIMCHAN and acquaintances, were drinking at the pension. Since then, the police have reportedly been dispatched to the scene due to the report of the victim.
HIMCHAN released a single in October 2020, while he was on trial, and the next day he was arrested by police in a traffic accident for drunk driving near Hakdong village, Dosan-daero, Gangnam, Seoul.
