ERIC of boy group THE BOYZ will be the first professional baseball pitcher since his debut.
THE BOYZ’s agency IST Entertainment said, “THE BOYZ‘s ERIC will take to the mound for the first pitch of the Kiwoom Heroes and Lotte Giants match at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul at 2 p.m. on May 27.“
On this day, ERIC will deliver a strong energy to the fans who visit the stadium by holding a pitch wishing victory for Kiwoom Heroes. He plans to act as a “victory fairy” by injecting his unique light energy when throwing.
In particular, ERIC is expected to show off his soft, smooth throw as much as his career as a school baseball player. Before the first pitch, ERIC said, “I have been a fan of Kiwoom Heroes since childhood. I am honored and happy to be able to pitch for the team I support” adding, “I will sincerely support Kiwoom Heroes for the win.”
THE BOYZ, the group to which ERIC belongs, completed “THE BOYZ 2ND WORLD TOUR: ZENERATION” over a total of three days from May 19 to 21, and will accelerate preparations for the Japanese tour which will begin on May 31. Along with their jobs Busy times to and from home and abroad, THE BOYZ will be releasing the second Japanese album “DELICIOUS” on June 13th.
