The group (G)I-DLE (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua) won five titles in music shows with “Queencard”.
During MBC’s “Show Music Core” which aired on May 27! the title track of (G)I-DLE‘s 6th mini album “Queencard” won first place.
Immediately after the first place announcement, (G)I-DLE said, “Thank you to the parents of the five members. And we love the ‘Neverlands so much. Please continue to love (G)I-DLE immensely in the future.“
(G)I-DLE made a comeback with new album “I FEEL” on May 15 and immediately after its release, charting first in 18 regions including Singapore, Turkey, Mexico and Thailand. Additionally, as of the 21st, the group surpassed 1,163,300 initial sales, reaching a “Career High”, ranking fourth in girl group initial sales.
The title track “Queencard” garnered explosive reactions from domestic and overseas fans along with its release, and topped the “Top 100” chart on Melon, the largest music site in Korea, completing three syndromes consecutive connecting “Tomboy” and “Nxde.” Additionally, the music video for “Queencard” is currently on the rise with over 88 million views.
In addition, (G)I-DLE‘s world tour “2023 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [I am FREE-TY]“, which will be held on June 17 and 18, was sold out five minutes after the start of the general reservations on May 26, proving its popularity.
(G)I-DLE will continue its activities with “Queencard”.
