TONY AN of “H.O.T” will return with a new song for the first time in about five years.
According to Green Bam E&M agency, on June 5, TONY AN will release his digital single “MY SHINY DAY” via online music sites at 12 p.m. on the same day.
“MY SHINY DAY” contains praise for the precious daily life that has been restored after the long pandemic. The first track, “Shiny day,” is a song that expresses precious daily life that is ordinary but happiest and brightest, and Kangta of H.O.T. wrote, composed and produced this one. Besides H.O.T.’s activities, this is the first collaboration between TONY AN and Kangta, so it’s a song that shows their friendship.
The second track, “가장 아름다운 시간”, is a song about sad times buried in memories of the past, and contains TONY AN‘s autobiographical story about the days since his debut in 1996 and his sincerity towards his fans.
In particular, this album is the first new song released in five years since the single “HOT Knight” released in 2018. Besides that, TONY AN adds meaning to the “Tony An 2023 “MY MY“” centennial concert Yonsei University for two days from June 5 to June 6, when the new song was released.
