KARD: A tour around the world
Co-ed group KARD has announced its global performance following its successful comeback in Korea.
KARD (BM, J.Seph, Jeon Somin and Jeon Jiwoo) released an official poster of “2023 KARD WORLD TOUR ‘PLAYGROUND’” (hereinafter referred to as “PLAYGROUND”) on its official SNS at midnight today and announced the organization of the world tour. According to this, KARD will hold solo performances in a total of 17 cities in eight countries around the world, starting with Monterey, Mexico on July 6 (local time).
KARD, which will kick off a two-month tour in Mexico, will later perform in Heredia in Costa Rica followed by New York, Washington, Atlanta, Chicago, Louisville, Dallas, Phoenix, Los Angeles and San Francisco. In August, he plans to travel to Europe including Budapest, Hungary, Madrid, Spain, Frankfurt, Germany, London, England and Paris, France to communicate closely with local fans.
KARD’s world tour is the first for about a year, since touring North and South America last year. In particular, this is the first time that KARD has held a solo concert in Costa Rica, Hungary, Germany and France, and it is expected to attract the attention of global K-pop fans. With this performance, KARD will hold a number of stages with hit songs, including new songs included in the new album “ICKY”, signaling KARD’s exciting but fun “PLAYGROUND”.
KARD, who made a comeback with its sixth mini album “ICKY” on the 23rd of last month, stood out in various charts amid foreign media such as British music magazine NME. “ICKY” is an album that provides insight into KARD’s evolved musical abilities and growth, with all members participating in writing the lyrics, and contains KARD’s pride and confidence that never ceases to challenge itself every moment.
