ATEEZ
KQ ENTERTAINMENT‘s male group ATEEZ is making a comeback this Friday, June 16, with the album “THE WORLD EP.2: OUTLAW“.

Composed of members HONGJOONG, SEONGHWA, YUNHO, YEOSANG, SAN, MINGI, WOOYOUNG and JONGHO, it was during a showcase in Seoul the day before (June 15) that the group presented this ninth opus. The showcase begins with a photo shoot, as usual, so that the journalists present discover the eight singers. A few teasers are broadcast, but the group wastes no more time and performs the song “Bouncy” for the first time, which ignites the stage. Each of the members manages to show their charm and charisma, whether on stage or in the associated clip which is broadcast right after.
Afterwards, the band sit down with the showcase MC to talk about the comeback, beginning by expressing the stress and pressure they felt during the recent world tour, with SAN talking in particular about the fact that the fans had prepared banners written in Korean, which made him very happy. The group is very grateful and touched by the love it has been able to receive over several months, from all over the world.

ATEEZ then talks about the song “Bouncy”, YUNHO and WOOYOUNG showcasing moves from the choreography where they mime cooking with chili sauce, as well as a moment when the members are all tail-le-le dancing, calling this passage “train dance“. YEOSANG reveals an anecdote from the filming, where during one scene he is driving a motorcycle. He reveals that in reality, not knowing how to drive, it is motionless and that the special effects allow him to drive it.
“We wanted to come back with a little “spicy” song, which would allow everyone to have fun with us” – HONGJOONG
Also special in the album, YUNHO has a solo title. He is concerned about what the ATINYs, fans of the group, will think, but hopes that the song will please them. When the MC asks what the group’s ultimate goal is, HONGJOONG replies that he has already fulfilled most of the group’s dreams, but it would be a consecration to perform on more prestigious international stages like the Billboard Music Awards. The main thing for them is above all to be supported and loved by their loved ones and their fans.
HONGJOONG also talks about the band’s musical footprint, touching on the Korean roots the band wants to keep, with the leader even singing a few trot lyrics, a traditional Korean song. MINGI then talks about the promotional period set up for this comeback, where posters have been hidden in the city of Seoul, whether on buildings, vehicles or even in the subway. This treasure hunt delighted the members, seeing the enthusiasm of their fans.
Throughout the questions, we ask the members and particularly YUNHO, SEONGHWA and MINGI, if they had taken up any particular challenges during the preparation of this comeback. The first begins by answering that he worked mainly on his facial expressions, the second that he received singing lessons to improve himself rather than to change his image. In addition, SEONGHWA received a lot of advice and help from HONGJOONG to perfect his technique, and finally, the third focused more on writing lyrics, and trying more English to mix it with Korean.
The frantic pace is discussed, concerning the health of the members who continue without a break comeback, concert, tour, etc. JONGHO takes the floor,
“It is true that it is difficult, even if I admit that there are moments of weakness, which I do not deny, they are quickly forgotten thanks to the ATINYs who support us unfailingly” – JONGHO
SAN also taking the floor,
“The group is indeed tired and encounters several difficulties to hold on. But seeing the joy that this brings to our fans, we really want to continually surpass ourselves to find it as soon as possible. That’s why despite fatigue, we continue unceasingly.” – SAN
“During the promotion period for the song “Halazia”, we thought about slowing down the rhythm or taking another voice, and this album now represents the most accomplished version of ATEEZ” – HONGJOONG
To end this Q&A session, the group performs a second performance, “Outlaw”, inspiring not to give up when faced with difficulties. After this song, the group thanks the reporters who made the trip today, hoping that this comeback pleases them. The boys organizing the same day a showcase especially for their fans.
