“NCT Universe: LASTART” (hereinafter referred to as “LASTART”) will premiere on July 27 on Japan’s Hulu and Nihon TV channels, KOCOWA+ (wavve Americas), and Korea’s ENA and TVing channels. During today’s show, the SMROOKIES SION & YUSHI, will carry out the “Duo stage mission”, the first gateway to the trainees, will be revealed.
As SM Entertainment’s first audition program, BOA and EUNHYUK will appear as artistic directors of “LASTART,” and KEY of SHINEE will join them as special artistic directors. Upon gathering these three, BOA said, “I can’t lie. (The trainees) I think they’ll say they’re really good at it.“
In particular, the performance of SMROOKIES SION and YUSHI, who have confirmed their debut with NCT NEW TEAM, will be unveiled on the show. On top of that, KEY, who heard about SION and YUSHI, who spent four and five years training, said, “If you have any money left, you need to talk to the team about cast (SM),” raising questions about what kind of episode it will be.
The performances of 10 trainees, excluding SION and YUSHI, will also be unveiled for the first time. Like ANDERSON and HARUTA, the first of 10 trainees to hit the stage for their first opportunities, who are known to be “baby” trainees aged six and eight months in training, respectively.
