IVAN from the group KINGDOM attracted fans with his intense atmosphere.
KINGDOM (Hwon, Jahan, Dann, Arthur, Mujin, Louis and Ivan) released IVAN’s personal concept photo for the 7th mini album “History of Kingdom: Part Ⅶ. JAHAN” on its official SNS on October 8 at midnight.
In the published photo, IVAN looks into the distance in a military khaki suit. IVAN’s urban appearance exudes an extraordinary aura. In a previous photo, IVAN shows his dignity in a white chiffon outfit. IVAN’s sharp image immediately caught the attention of viewers.
The seven-part “History of Kingdom” is an epic poem between a king trying to awaken as a true king and six kings who come from different eras to help him. This album is the final installment of Season 1, which has been running for over three years, and will cover the story of JAHAN, the “Kingdom of the Sun”.
In response, KINGDOM member IVAN posed a Q&A through his agency GF Entertainment ahead of the release of his new album.
Here are IVAN’s questions and answers.
Q. This is your return after 7 months. How do you feel?
I am really happy. Since it took a while, we will show you a great performance.
Q. Are there any performances you want to achieve?
After the activity of the 7th mini-album, I want to gather only the KINGMAKERS (fandom name) and do a concert.
Q. What was the most memorable episode of “History of Kingdom”?
This is the third mini-album, “Black Crown“. While filming the music video, I studied a lot because there were more acting scenes than usual, but I remember feeling proud that it turned out as good as I practiced. Above all, I think I was able to see a new side of myself.
Q. What have you learned most from your seven-part series over the past three years?
Dramatic performance, greatness and the KINGDOM qualifier were achieved.
Q. How does it feel to finish the seven-part series that was a vast worldview?
I had a hard time thinking about “what to do” at first because the concept was unique, but I’m glad it turned out well.
Q. What is the strong point of this album?
While KINGDOM’s existing choreography is more dramatic, the choreography of the 7th mini album consists of a dynamic scene. I think it would be good if you watched this part a lot.
Q. Which model made you dream of becoming a singer?
BTS are role models. Seniors always do their best, anytime and anywhere. The passionate image is also conveyed off-screen. I still feel like they tried really hard.
Q. Is there any national and international artist you want to collaborate with?
I want to collaborate with DK from Seventeen. Dokyeom is versatile not only in singing but also in everything. I want to show different sides of myself to fans like Dokyeom.
Q. It’s been three years since your debut. Who was the most impressive fan?
I would say all the KINGMAKERS. It’s because they clapped hard and gave us so much attention and love that each one of them is important.
Q. Do you have any future goals or dreams?
My future goal is to reach the No. 1 music program in Korea.
Q. Finally, I ask the kingmaker to say something.
