SEVENTEEN has successfully concluded its activities for its mini-album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN“, winning 5 trophies in music shows and setting new records in K-pop history.

SEVENTEEN (composed of S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino) has successfully wrapped up its activities for its mini-album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN“.
On November 5th, 2023, SEVENTEEN secured the number one trophy for its title track “음악의 신” (“God of music“) on SBS‘s “Inkigayo” music show, achieving a total of five music show wins, officially concluding its promotions for its eleventh mini-album, “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN“. Winning first place on “Inkigayo“, SEVENTEEN expressed its gratitude to its fandom, CARATs, saying, “We are really thankful to our CARATs. It’s thanks to them that we received this award. Although S.COUPS couldn’t be present at this moment, he will definitely be with us in our future activities. We hope CARATs will always be there to support us.“

With “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN“, SEVENTEEN has scripted a new chapter in the history of K-pop. The group achieved a remarkable feat by selling over 5 million albums in one week after the release of “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN“, becoming the first K-pop artist to surpass this figure.
“SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” also conquered the Japanese charts, topping iTunes‘ general and K-pop genre charts and reaching number one on Line Music‘s real-time album charts, Japan’s largest music site. Additionally, the album also claimed the number one position in Oricon‘s weekly album ranking and combined album ranking (October 23-29, 2023), extending SEVENTEEN‘s record as the “foreign artist with the most number one works” on these charts.

The mini 11th album’s title track, “음악의 신” (“God of music“), immediately secured the top position on major South Korean music charts such as Melon, Genie, and Bugs upon its release. The song maintained a high position and even reached the number one spot on iTunes‘ “Top Songs” chart in 29 countries and regions, including Brazil, the Philippines, and Singapore. Moreover, this song achieved a significant milestone by topping the “Melon TOP100” chart, becoming the first K-pop male group song to reach this position this year.
Finally, SEVENTEEN continued its dome tour in Japan, “SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ TO JAPAN“, following its opening concert at Tokyo Dome on September 6-7. The tour will proceed to Verona Dome (Saitama) on November 23-24, then to Nagoya Dome on November 30 and December 2, and finally to Kyocera Dome Osaka on December 7 and 9-10, concluding at Fukuoka PayPay Dome on December 16-17.
