Group KINGDOM closed the seven-part finale of “History of Kingdom”.
KINGDOM (Dann, Arthur, Mujin, Louis, Ivan, Hwon, Jahan) participated in MBC M’s “Show Champion” broadcast on the afternoon of the 8th! During this broadcast KINGDOM said “We have completed our music broadcast activities for our 7th mini-album “History of Kingdom: Part Ⅶ. JAHAN.”
KINGDOM opened the stage of “Coup d’état” with its wild charm and showed a perfect performance. In addition, KINGDOM delivered an intense story like a “cinema idol”, giving it a degree of immersion like watching a movie. Moreover, KINGDOM, which concludes its activities after about three weeks, demonstrated perfect harmony and synergy with improved music and concepts compared to “Coup d’état“.
The seven-part “History of Kingdom” is an epic poem between a king trying to awaken as a true king and six kings who come from different eras to help him. This album is the last part of season 1, broadcast for more than three years by KINGDOM, and tells the story of JAHAN, king of the “Kingdom of the Sun”.
KINGDOM, which debuted in 2021, topped five Amazon Music charts in the United States for the first time as a “fourth generation idol” and entered the top 10 of the US Billboard chart “World Digital Song Sales” for three consecutive years. Additionally, KINGDOM is taking a global initiative by announcing its first selection of advertising models in the United States.
In particular, KINGDOM proved its unique musical color by ending the Season 1 finale with high-quality “music” despite the negative factors of removing and replacing 70,000 first editions of the album before its return.
KINGDOM will attend the Asia Artist Awards 2023 in the Philippines on December 14 and will hold a fan meeting in Japan starting on December 16.
