HANKOOK, LEON and YOONWOO of the group TRENDZ became “promising actors” thanks to “Secret, Playlist”.

In Hulu Japan’s first-ever original drama “Secret, Playlist” (play by Park Yoon Sung, director Kim Jong Chang), TRENDZ members HANKOOK, LEON and YOONWOO appeared as popular idols, showing their acting skills to exploit reality, producing overly indulgent people.
HANKOOK, LEON and YOONWOO doubled down on their realism by playing unique characters while enhancing the enjoyment of watching them with visuals that looked like they came out of a webtoon. HANKOOK appeared as a colleague and close “hyung” of Lee Do Guk (Shin Hyun Seung), who works as a visual member of an idol group, and advised Lee Do Guk, who insists on music: “You have to do something“, showing a hot and cold side.
For their part, LEON and YOONWOO continued their intense war of nerves with Lee Do Guk, strongly captivating viewers. LEON congratulated Lee Do Guk on the success of YOONWOO’s album in the drama, and YOONWOO even created tension by forming a rivalry with Lee Do Guk with the line: “Don’t overdo it, I’ll buy some one, when the album comes out.“
While the acting skills of HANKOOK, LEON and YOONWOO, rediscovered in “Secret Playlist,” further enhance the realism and fun of the drama, the acting of TRENDZ members raises more expectations among fans. Attention focuses on the type of work in which group members will show different charms.
“Secret Playlist,” starring the members of TRENDZ, is a one-episode musical romantic drama between music influencer Song Han Joo (Kim Hyang Gi) and popular idol Lee Do Guk (Shin Hyun Seung), who can be found on Hulu Japan and on TV every Saturday at noon.
