Duo SEVENUS offers an open ear canal suitable for spring with “SPRING CANVAS”.
SEVENUS (Heejae, Ireah) released a medley video of highlights from its debut mini album “SPRING CANVAS” on its official YouTube channel on March 12 at midnight KST.
In the video, the title song “Want you back“, HEEJAE and IREAH’s solo songs “Day by day” (feat. Rhoda of Mont) and “Blues”, as well as “위성” and “Pretty good” are included.
The title track, “Want you back,” features the open vocals and refreshing sound of SEVENUS. Remember HEEJAE’s “I badly want you back. 떠올려 매일 What you said“. And the high part, “시간이 약이라는 말. 이제 더는 안 믿을래. 너 없인 하루도 지옥 같아“, from IREAH hits hard, all of a sudden.
HEEJAE’s “Day by day” then captured the ear with a catchy melody, while IREAH’s “Blues” stimulated emotion with a lyrical voice. The group M.O.N.T, which includes Rhoda, who features in “Day by day“, appeared with SEVENUS on JTBC’s idol survival show “Peak time“, broadcast last year, raising expectations for the full song.
Additionally, SEVENUS’ colorful musical attempts can be found in tracks of varied genres, including “위성”, which releases confessions of love with the matter of space, and “Pretty good“, which conveys overwhelming feelings with drum sounds.
SEVENUS will release its first mini album “SPRING CANVAS” at 12 p.m. KST on March 15 and will hold their first solo fan meeting “SPRING CANVAS” at Kobaco Hall in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul on March 16.
