STRAY KIDS celebrated its 6th anniversary with warm interest and love from fans around the world.
STRAY KIDS, which officially debuted on March 25, 2018, released a variety of contents commemorating its sixth anniversary on its official channel and SNS and shared a special day with STAYs (fans of the group) around the world.
The photos of the eight members of BANG CHAN, LEE KNOW, CHANGBIN, HYUNJIN, HAN, FELIX, SEUNGMIN and I.N. showed their strong bond, while the photos and short videos released sequentially in the afternoon became a surprise gift for fans. Members wore T-shirts and glasses with dress codes to express their warmth and mood by showing the close relationship like a family. They performed live on their official YouTube channel at 10 p.m. KST and communicated with fans at home and abroad.
STRAY KIDS, which is experiencing significant growth every year thanks to the loud applause of its fans, has established itself as a “K-pop trend”. STRAY KIDS offered remarkable achievements in the global music market last year. With its mini album “ROCK STAR” released in November 2023, STRAY KIDS ranked No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for the fourth consecutive time, and its title song “Rock” set a new chart entry record “Hot 100” for the first time as a fourth-generation “K-pop boyband.” In April of the same year, the encore, which marked the finale of the second “MANIAC” world tour, which included 42 performances in 18 cities, was sold out at the Bank of California Stadium in Los Angeles, USA.
STRAY KIDS predicts higher “urgency” in 2024. They will headline three major overseas music festivals from July 12 (local time) to “I-Days” in Milan, Italy, “BST Hyde Park” in London, United Kingdom on August 14 and “Lollapalooza” Chicago, United States on August 1-4.
Before that, the 4th official fan meeting “SKZ’S MAGIC SCHOOL” will be held at KSPO DOME (Olympic Gymnastics Stadium) in Songpa-gu Olympic Park, Seoul for three days from March 29 to 31, and the group will meet the fans.
