CHOI JEONG WON: First return to his networks

CHOI JEONG WON, actor and singer of the group UN, has resumed his personal channel activities.

On April 14, CHOI JEONG WON posted a photo on his networks. In the posted photo, CHOI JEONG WON is seen from behind while riding. This was the first time in about a year and four months that CHOI JEONG WON posted this post after the controversy over the “상간남 (incestuous man)” trial.

CHOI JEONG WON was involved in an alleged affair in January last year. The plaintiff, “B”, filed a lawsuit against CHOI JEONG WON for damages worth 100 million won, citing his wife’s affair with CHOI JEONG WON.

CHOI JEONG WON directly refuted the claim, saying, “We have been close friends with ‘A’ since she was in her 20s, but we have never met as lovers in the past.” A complaint was therefore filed for intimidation, defamation, insults among other things.

During the first trial of the compensation action held in August last year, both sides fought an uphill battle and perpetuated their differences. Currently, the next trial has not been decided since the first pleading date in December of last year.

CHOI JEONG WON debuted as a member of the male duo UN in 2000 and released songs such as “선물” and “파도” and received a lot of love.
