Group MONGDOLL will perform at the 15th “화성시 가족사랑축제 (Hwaseong City Family Love Festival)”.
MONGDOLL (Lee Dong Hee, Kim Tae Joon, Yang Kwang Joon, Jang Kyung Cheon and Lee Hong Kyun) will perform a celebration performance as the winner of the “2023 Rising Star” of the 15th Hwaseong City Family Love Festival which will be held in Undapwon at Dongtan Lake Park on April 27.
MONGDOLL made a big impression last year by winning the national musical group competition “2023 Rising Star” organized by the Hwaseong Cultural Foundation. MONGDOLL will once again captivate the audience by presenting a stage performance on stage highlighting the group’s unique charm and the personality of its team.
MONGDOLL is a five-member group from Asan, South Chungcheong Province, which uses the Chinese character “stone that will hit your dream” to mean “achieve your dream“. MONGDOLL, an agency with the same name, was established and continues its activities, and it will sign a management contract with M.Y Music this year to show more active music activities.
After debuting with the single “WEEKEND DRIVE” in 2021, MONGDOLL sings about dreams and hopes through “어떻게 생각해“, “우와이야”, “고장난 아이” and “Running”. In addition, the group achieved good results in various competitions, including the “I’m a musician” gold award under the Record Production Support Project of the Chungnam Music Creation Center, and the third place of Gyeonggi content agency’s music discovery project 2022.
Hosted by Hwaseong City, organized by Hwaseong City Cultural Foundation and sponsored by Kiho Ilbo, the 15th “Hwaseong City Family Love Festival” features programs for families and neighbors, including civic experiences, traditional experiences and leisure activities, art markets, exhibitions, and celebratory performances, and will host performances by various artists in addition to MONGDOLL.
