Behind the scenes of “Work“, new ATEEZ title.
It is in this Thursday, May 30 that the male group ATEEZ of KQ ENTERTAINMENT realizes its comeback with a tenth mini album, entitled «GOLDEN HOUR: PART.1″.
Composed of members HONGJOONG, SEONGHWA, YUNHO, YEOSANG, SAN, MINGI, WOOYOUNG, and JONGHO, the group is back for a tenth mini album much awaited by the fans, who were recently able to meet the group at the Coachella festival. The group is speaking today at a press conference in Seoul, and therefore does not present a performance to the journalists present. After a photo session highlighting each of the members, the clip of the song «Work» is broadcast.
Being in the continuity of the clip «Bouncy», the MV presents a western universe, funny, and extravagant, which represents the group that is ATEEZ. Then, the eight singers take place on stage to discuss this comeback with the journalists. Each member presents himself individually, thanking all the people paying attention to this tenth mini album. MINGI especially, hopes that everyone will have a pleasant time at their side, and can create memorable memories.
The group is quite eager to make this comeback, but also tense after concluding various themes in previous albums. Indeed, this tenth album marks the beginning of a new era, described by YEOSANG as an album that highlights different facets of the group, which should greatly appeal to fans of ATEEZ, the ATINY. Even if only six months have passed since their previous comeback, the boys claim to have trained a lot, and hope that this album will please anyone who listens to it.
This album is composed of six tracks, written by HONGJOONG, MINGI and YEOSANG, members proudly presented by SAN. The title song, “Work,” offers a hip-hop and groovy atmosphere, with SAN and MINGI showcasing a short duo performance to highlight the collaborative side of the dance when they clap their hands together. Other than the title song, YUNHO proposes the song “Blind», followed by HONGJOONG which proposes «Empty box».

The leader HONGJOONG also returns to the teasers photos of the group, offering a lot of different concepts, which allows the group to highlight all the facets they intend to address in future albums of this series. The teasers are soft, festive, colorful, clean, so many themes highlighting the charm of this talented group. In addition, standing out from most groups, this album offers a large number of lyrics in Spanish, to be able to communicate with their fans, and thus corresponding more to their concept.
Occasionally, if other languages can match their concepts, the group will not hesitate to incorporate them into future albums. Then returning to Coachella, SEONGHWA talks about the fact that it is a performance that ATEEZ saw realized only in dreams, and expresses his gratitude for having been able to participate in a festival of international renown. The group was very prepared for this event, JONGHO adding that it was one of the group’s goals to perform there. In addition, he took singing lessons in Los Angeles, to be sure to present the best possible performances at the festival.

Throughout the conference, ATEEZ reaffirms its desire to be able to present good performances, impacting minds, WOOYOUNG comparing performances to musicals, having to play a role on stage to correspond to the comeback, while dancing, singing, and standing out on stage. YUNHO especially thanks the ATINY for always being by the side of the group, promising to continue working hard to show them a maximum of content and facets of ATEEZ.
HONGJOONG also talks about the group’s future content, including the fact that videos were shot while they were in the United States. Many things are planned for the group, filmed before, during, and after Coachella. Rather than set a goal, now that they have been able to go to Coachella, the boys prefer to maintain a guideline where they continue to work hard to present quality performances. JONGHO, in particular, hopes to become a singer who can sing more OST for dramas.
Despite the group’s experience, the singers still sometimes have concerns, and wonder if they are doing things well, if they are good artists, etc. The support of the fans allows them to gain courage and determination, and it is with great excitement that they express their joy to soon hold a fanmeeting in July to meet their fans. They are therefore preparing hard not to disappoint the ATINY, who are also looking forward to seeing ATEEZ.

The group always performs as if it was the last time it had the opportunity, in order to have no regrets on stage. Finally, when asked how the boys agreed on the new concept of the upcoming albums, SEONGHWA replied that they had a long consultation on what they wanted to achieve, and what challenges to meet. Then, the boys highlight that the moments when they are the happiest are when they stand on stage surrounded by ATINY, pushing them to constantly surpass themselves.
The albums they produce are primarily intended for people who love and support ATEEZ, HONGJOONG considers the group’s career as a joint experience with fans. It is in July that we will find the group at the fanmeeting “ATINY’S VOYAGE FROM A TO Z“.
