ROSÉ: It’s official, the contract is signed

ROSÉ from the group BLACKPINK officially holds the hand of producer Teddy.

On June 18, THE BLACK LABEL declared: “We have signed a management contract with ROSÉ”.

“Producer Teddy and artist ROSÉ, who have been working together for a long time, as producers and artists, recently signed a management contract with THE BLACK LABEL based on their strong mutual trust. ROSÉ is preparing to meet the fans of the world whole with new music and will work with global record labels in the future.” it declared.

THE BLACK LABEL is an entertainment company founded in 2016 by Teddy, a former member of One Time, a group owned by YG Entertainment. Bigbang’s Taeyang, Jeon Somi, Zion T, Park Bogum and Lee Jongwon are affiliated with this agency.

Teddy notably built a long-standing relationship with ROSÉ by producing a number of hit songs, from BLACKPINK’s debut song “Whistle” to “Boombayah” and many more.

Earlier in December last year, BLACKPINK signed an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment for the group and the members decided to carry out solo activities individually.
