NEWJEANS’ “How sweet” has been at the top of the US Billboard Global Song Chart for three consecutive weeks.
According to the latest chart released by Billboard on June 18 (local time), NEWJEANS’ double single “HOW SWEET” and the title song of the same name “How sweet” ranked 21st in the “Global (excluding United States)” and 28th in the “Global 200”. The song has continued to be popular since entering at number 7 and 15 respectively on both charts on June 8.
“Bubble gum” ranked 44th and 77th in “Global (non-US)” and “Global 200”, respectively. NEWJEANS placed both songs on the Global Songs Chart based on streaming and music sales (downloads) in over 200 regions worldwide.
With the release of its first single in Japan, NEWJEANS will appear in a series of representative music broadcast programs in the country and start its activities there. Starting with Fuji TV’s “Mezamashi Terevi” and “Mezamashi 8” on the morning of June 21, they will perform their new songs on TV Asahi’s “Music Station” on the same day, Nihon TV’s “With MUSIC” on the 22nd, TBS’ “CDTV live! Live!” on the 24th, Fuji TV’s “FNS Song Festival” on the 3rd of next month, and TBS’s “Music Day 2024” on the 13th of next month.
