YG Entertainment executive producer YANG HYUN SUK and 2NE1 finally met. This is the first time in eight years that they have come together as a whole group.
According to YG Entertainment, on June 28, executive producer YANG HYUN SUK and 2NE1 (CL, Park Bom, Sandara Park and Gong Minzy) held a meeting at YG Entertainment‘s new office in Hapjeong-dong, Seoul, on the afternoon of June 27.
YANG HYUN SUK warmly welcomed each of the four members of 2NE1. YG Entertainment said that the official meeting, which lasted approximately two hours, was the site of meaningful conversations.
For YG Entertainment, 2NE1 has a unique meaning. While Blackpink has now established itself as the best girl group in the world, Babymonster recently made its official debut successfully, 2NE1 is the beginning of YG Entertainment’s girl group genealogy with “YG DNA”.
The reason why YANG HYUN SUK and 2NE1 receive special attention is because it is not a private outside meeting, but an official meeting held by the members visiting YG Entertainment‘s new office to the first time.
