Taiwan’s No. 1 boy group GENBLUE has ended its official activities for its debut song “Cococo”.

GENBLUE released its debut song “Cococo” on the 2nd of last month and successfully completed its first domestic activity in South Korea for about four weeks, covering music shows, radio, and “MU:CON 2024″.
GENBLUE, who challenged the K-pop market for the first time with a popular Taiwanese girl group, attracted the attention of fans around the world as a “global rookie” upon their debut. The title song “Cococo” ranked 25th on the iTunes Top Songs chart in Taiwan after its release, and its music video proved its powerful influence with over 12 million views. In addition, the dance challenge of “Cococo” with Bang Yedam, Drippin’s Joo Chang Wook, and Nowadays’ Jihyuk also aroused fans’ enthusiasm to participate.
In addition to their chart performances and views, GENBLUE has captured the hearts of K-pop fans by introducing the stage directly through music broadcasts. GENBLUE continued their music broadcast activities with the title song “Cococo” including KBS2’s “Music Bank”, MBC’s “Show! Music Core”, and SBS’s “Inkigayo”, not only communicating with domestic and overseas fans, but also on the stage of the “MU:CON 2024” showcase with energetic performances.

GENBLUE, which has expanded into the K-pop market, is a popular group that has ranked No. 1 in album sales in Taiwan (according to iTop Chart Taiwan), and six of the selected members of the Taiwanese survival program “NEXT GIRLZ” belong to the group. As it has progressed beyond Taiwan to Korea based on its strong skills, GENBLUE’s unlimited expansion is expected in the future.
In the meantime, GENBLUE, which has completed its debut activities in Korea, plans to continue its busy debut activities worldwide.
