SLEEPY, UKWON, BROWN TIGGER: Korean hip-hop on the Japanese archipelago

Artists SLEEPY, U-WON and BROWN TIGGER will be bringing hip-hop to the Japanese archipelago in November.

SLEEPY, U-KWON, and BROWN TIGGER will hold their first solo performance “KR TRAIN FOR OSAKA, HIPHOOP STATION VOL.1” on November 15 and 17 at PLUSWIN HALL OSAKA in Osaka, Japan. Tickets will go on sale on October 5 at noon on Rakuten, a local ticket booking site.

“KR TRAIN FOR OSAKA, HIPHOP STATION VOL.1” is part of the “TRAIN” series, and each stage has a special theme that reflects the emotions and atmosphere of the city. The Osaka concert will be staged under the theme of the hip-hop genre. Three of Korea’s most undisputed hip-hop artists are expected to come and give the audience intense energy.​

SLEEPY is a hip-hop artist who is loved for his unique rap style and witty lyrics. U-KWON has established a global presence as a versatile K-pop artist with a strong stage presence, while BROWN TIGGER shows a strong presence in the hip-hop scene with a trendy sound. As the three have an irreplaceable musical soul, this performance is expected to show a different charm.

In particular, the three artists will perform their respective hit songs and even stages specially prepared for this performance. They will provide a fresh and diverse experience for hip-hop fans in Korea and Japan through different stages, as well as memories to deepen the musical exchanges between the two countries and form a cultural consensus with a stage of originality.

While the Osaka concert is expected to be a meaningful event to commemorate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan in 2025, performances by SLEEPY, U-KWON, and BROWN TIGGER will take place at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. KST on November 15 and 17.
