Three days of concerts for a return that made Seoul tremble.

2NE1 had announced a spectacular comeback of the “legendary K-pop girl group.” 2NE1 successfully wrapped up the “2024 2NE1 CONCERT [WELCOME BACK] IN SEOUL” held at the Olympic Park Olympic Hall in Bangi-dong, Seoul on October 4, 5, and 6. As it was the first sold-out concert in about 10 years and 6 months and a venue to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their debut, 12,000 tickets prepared for three days were quickly sold out amidst great interest.
As the voices of the four members announcing “Come back home” in the dark rang out, the stage filled with screams that seemed to explode the walls of the venue. 2NE1, who then appeared, whipped the audience into a frenzy by performing relentlessly and live performances as if emitting the energy that had been condensed with “Fire,” “Clap,” and “Can’t Nobody.”

The mix of hit songs containing 2NE1’s stages gave a heartbreaking impression and a thrilling thrill at every moment. The emotional melody of “Lonely” captivated fans with its ever-changing charm, such as CL’s solo stage filled with hip-hop swag and “I’m the best” with their unique personality.
Since the debut of the group 2NE1, with YG Entertainment, the direction of the performance that is possible has doubled the sense of immersion. Sensual LED graphics visualizing the group’s identity, videos tracing their musical journey as if they were traveling to memories, and live music groups with dance teams that maximized their liveliness were combined together.

On October 5th and 6th, junior group BABYMONSTER who is in the lineage of YG Entertainment girl groups made a surprise guest appearance. “We are grateful and honored to be able to hold our first guest stage at such a meaningful place. We will do our best to become great singers as much as you,” the girls told the 2NE1 members, showing off their warm chemistry by giving generous compliments.
It was the communication with the fans that completed the 15th anniversary concert. The members walked around the protruding stage and breathed warm air, while greeting the audience one by one. The fans also stood up from their seats to applaud and sing to completely overcome their heartache.
Standing in front of the fans as a whole for the first time in 10 years, the members all had tears in their eyes. “We are happy and grateful to celebrate the 15th anniversary here where we held our first concert. This stage where the four of us are back with BLACKJACKs (fandom name) feels like a dream. Our lives have always been with the fans. Thank you for always being there for us,” they said.

During the various concerts, many videos were also posted on fans’ SNS showing the “fiery” atmosphere that these concerts caused. There were also many videos of artists, also fans of the group, who were able to attend the various concerts, such as KEI from SHINEE, JUNG YONGHWA from CNBLUE, KANG DANIEL … Thus showing even more the influence that the group 2NE1 has had on many generations of artists.
At the same time, 2NE1 will expand its communication with music fans around the world, starting with the Seoul concert. The group will first go to Manila on November 16, and is expected to continue its 15th anniversary with a new Asian tour in a total of nine cities, including Jakarta, Kobe, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Bangkok and Taipei.
