Group AB6IX will be making its comeback to the music industry today at 6 p.m. KST with the release of their new album “BORN LIKE THIS.“
AB6IX visits their fans with the 9th EP album “BORN LIKE THIS” about nine months after the release of the 8th EP album “THE FUTURE IS OURS: FOUND” in January.
AB6IX, who is not afraid of any adversity and silently walks its own path, was born to walk this path through this album. They have drawn themselves honestly. All the members participated in the writing and composition of the entire album. They have once again firmly established their identity as “accomplished artist idols” and are receiving enthusiastic attention from fans.
The title song “Nvked” was directed by LEE DAE HWI who actively participated in the writing, composition, and production of the song. Like the song’s slogan “Let’s get naked baby“, it is a track that contains the message of being honest as it is in the joyful rhythm of punk pop.
In addition, AB6IX’s ambitious lyrics with a strong beat and addictive bassline are impressive in “In my vein”. “Forever young” is a pop dance song about a young man with a beat that will not fade away forever. “Hurt me”, which contains the passion of love that never gives up even in the midst of deep wounds. And in “Butterfly effect” depicts the feeling of love that grows like the butterfly effect above the explosive tempo. It contains a total of five songs where you can see AB6IX’s colorful music, including in the title song.
AB6IX has raised expectations for the new album through comeback promotional contents such as concept photos, concept films, and official previews. In particular, the choreography challenge was pre-released to show the funky side of the title track “Nvked,” drawing attention to the intense performance that AB6IX, a performance masterpiece, will present on stage.
Yesterday, a day before their comeback, they held a YouTube Live to celebrate their comeback. The members introduced the concept and songs of the album, as well as unpacked the album. They prepared various moments, such as conducting an acrostic poem event for “Nvked,” communicating with fans, and getting excited about the comeback.

Q1. You are coming back with a new album after about 9 months. How do you feel about making a comeback?
JEON WOONG: I always get nervous and stressed every time we make a comeback, but I think I am more excited than that. I want to show you our performance in front of ABNEW as soon as possible!
KIM DONG HYUN: Since it has been about 9 months since our comeback, we are really looking forward to it and we are very excited! I am so happy to perform with our fans on stage.
PARK WOO JIN: Since we are making a comeback after a long time, we want to enjoy it and show you a good performance. Thank you for waiting for this comeback.
LEE DAE HWI: Since it has been a long time since we released an album, we have been trying our best to prepare for it. I hope you will enjoy it.
Q2. What kind of album is this 9th EP “BORN LIKE THIS”?
JEON WOONG: Since all the members actively participated in the album, it’s an album that honestly presents the members’ stories and charms.
KIM DONG HYUN: I think this album is an album where we can show you the freshness and charm of AB6IX.
PARK WOO JIN: We prepared as hard as usual, and everyone worked hard to make this album, so I hope you enjoy it.

Q3. Introduce the title song “Nvked” and what is your favorite part?
JEON WOONG: “Nvked” is a song written and composed by DAE HWI. As AB6IX’s main producer, it’s a song with colors that AB6IX can do well. My favorite part is “Let’s get naked baby” and I think it’s an identity that can best express this song.
KIM DONG HYUN: It’s a funky title song that you can enjoy and listen to together. My favorite part is “I will decorate this night with splendor.” I think the lyrics contain our desire to decorate all the performances and moments we spend with ABNEW.
PARK WOO JIN: “Nvked” is a pop funk genre, so you can enjoy it while listening to it. My favorite part is “I loved you and I will love you.”
LEE DAE HWI: “Nvked” is a song with the message “Let’s be honest as we are” and I like the part “Let’s get naked baby,” the first slogan that came to my mind when I was working on it!
Q4. What’s the highlight of the performance of the title song “Nvked”?
JEON WOONG: A bouncy dance! It’s a dance that everyone can easily follow, so I think it would be nice to try it.
KIM DONG HYUN: The stage is very exciting, and most importantly, there are many points that we can enjoy with our fans, so I think those are the points to watch out for.
PARK WOO JIN: There are a lot of basic and trendy choreographies in terms of dance, so I think fans will like it a lot.
LEE DAE HWI: This is the first time we’re going to do a full-handheld mic stage, so please look forward to it.
