New girl group BEWAVE generously showed off its new sense of fun and charm.
On October 23, the YouTube channel “꼰대희” introduced BEWAVE’s LENA and ZENA as the second guests of “달고나작명소.” LENA and ZENA, two rookies who debuted less than a year ago, said, “I didn’t feel like it was real after my debut, but I’m so nervous to be on such an entertainment show.”
LENA and ZENA showed off their colorful charms throughout the show. LENA, a Japanese member, was applauded for presenting hand drawings to the hosts and fluently reading sentences with similar pronunciations. ZENA impressed Dal Soobin by performing a dance medley without music, saying, “I’ve been a fan of DalShabet since I was young.”
“Our first album was released as a mini album, and this album, “너에게로 가는 길이 너무 어려워” is a unique album,” ZENA said, showing her freshness and live performance. Kim Daehee said on stage, “This is my taste. The repeated melodies are addictive. That’s how the song becomes a hit,” instantly creating a group song.
The reason they came to “달고나작명소” is to name their fandom. ZENA said, “We don’t have a fandom name yet. Our group name means BLUE WAVE, which means we will show you different sides by creating waves that are sometimes calm and sometimes violent.”
In response, Kim Daehee recommended the fandom name as “LU” because “L” and “U” are missing from the entire name. When the fans become “LU,” all the parts will match and it will feel like “BLUE WAVE” will become a whole body,” she recommended. Additionally, she also recommended “A WAVE,” “Visa,” “Rubly,” and “BESurfing.”
