OH MY GIRL - HYOJUNG
OH MY GIRL leader HYOJUNG has been selected as the DJ for KBS Cool FM’s (metropolitan FM frequency 89.1 MHz) representative show “Oh My Girl Hyojung – Volume up.“

HYOJUNG said, “I can’t believe I became a DJ for a show named after me. I’ve always loved the power of the story of this medium called radio. I want to be an 8 p.m. friend who puts aside my stressful work and cheers you up for tomorrow.”
“Volume up,” which airs every night at 8 p.m., is the flagship brand of KBS Radio, which debuted in 1995 and has produced memorable star DJs such as Lee Bon, MayBee, Choi Kang Hee, Yoo Inna, and Kang Hanna. HYOJUNG will follow in Chungha’s footsteps and connect with listeners by adding her musical expertise and entertainment. “Volume up” producer Oh Kuina expressed her expectations for the new host, saying, “HYOJUNG’s bright energy and charm that embraces various generations will be the vitality of Cool FM.”
HYOJUNG, who debuted as the leader and main vocalist of the group OH MY GIRL in 2015, began her career with the release of her first mini album “OH MY GIRL.” Since then, they have established themselves as a representative group in Korea by releasing a series of hit songs such as “Secret Garden,” “The fifth season,” “Nonstop,” and “Dun Dun Dance.” In the meantime, HYOJUNG has also served as a host for various entertainment shows, including KBS 2TV’s “Stars’ Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant,” which has a large audience of listeners of all ages. “OH MY GIRL’s Hyojung Volume Up” will premiere on Monday, November 25 at 8 p.m. KST and can be heard via KBS CoolFM (metropolitan FM frequency 89.1 MHz) and the radio apps “KBS Kong” and “KBS Plus.”
