Group WAYV is back.
WAYV, who will make their comeback on November 25, attracts listeners around the world with a new album with diverse charms.
WAYV’s sixth mini album “FREQUENCY” consists of a total of six songs with diverse moods, including the Korean and Chinese versions of the title song “Frequency” and the pre-release song “High five“, which is enough to appreciate WAYV’s new musical color.
In particular, the album track “Twist” is a mid-tempo dance song with an addictive melody line, a rhythm and a tapping sound, the song’s signature, adding a dynamic charm, and the Korean lyrics are impressive, comparing the feelings of falling in love to the feeling of spinning the whole world.
In addition, two English songs will be available, including “Filthy rich“, a retro-ambient R&B dance song that says that everything is meaningless without another person, and “Call me“, a mid-tempo R&B song that expresses the desperate wait for the other person’s touch with the members’ soft vocals and emotional rap, and since WAYV’s English songs such as “Love talk” and “Miracle” have been highly praised before, the new songs are expected to arouse great interest among music fans around the world.
In addition, the album’s teaser images, released on WAYV’s official SNS on November 12 and 13, show the members transformed into five mischievous bandits, and amplify the curiosity of the comeback with a kitsch and dark atmosphere.
In the meantime, WAYV will release all the songs from its sixth mini album “FREQUENCY” on various music sites at 6 p.m. KST on November 25, and will release the pre-release song “High Five” and the music video at 6 p.m. KST on November 19.
