SEVENTEEN will be the first K-pop artist to perform on Disney’s year-end special stage in the United States.
According to ABC in the United States, on November 21, SEVENTEEN will appear in The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular, which will air on December 2, and will decorate the solo stage of “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town“.
The Wonderful World of Disney is Disney’s ninth special program this year. Famous artists from various fields, including Mariah Carey, Michael Bolton, David Foster, Andrea Bocelli, Kelly Clarkson and Idina Menzel, have participated in the program.
SEVENTEEN has been part of the lineup with legendary artists such as Elton John, John Legend and Pentatonix this year, realizing its high status in North America. Actors Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro, co-hosts of the popular ABC show “Dancing with the Stars“, will host the event.
SEVENTEEN has already held the international tour “SEVENTEEN Right Here World Tour” in North America ten times in five U.S. cities. In Los Angeles, the final destination of the tour, the group notably held the “SEVENTEEN The City” tour, which combines the group’s performance content and intellectual property with local infrastructure, setting the entire city on fire.
The group will release their fourth Japanese single “SHOHIKIGEN” on the 27th and will embark on a dome tour in the city. The tour will kick off at Nagoya’s Banderin Dome on December 29 and 30, followed by Tokyo Dome on December 4 and 5, Osaka’s Kyocera Dome on December 12, 14 and 15, and Fukuoka Paypay Dome on December 19, 21 and 22.
