“The exclusive contract of GOLDEN CHILD members LEE DAEYEOL, Y, BAE SEUNGMIN, BONG JAEHYUN, and KIM DONGHYUN will end on December 31. We have discussed in depth with the GOLDEN CHILD members about their future and the direction of their activities in the future, and we have agreed to end the exclusive contract after sufficient dialogue.”
“We would like to express our gratitude to the GOLDEN CHILD members for showing various music from 2017 to now and for always working sincerely. We will sincerely support the future of the GOLDEN CHILD members. Thank you again to the fans who have always been with them.” it said.
As a result, only LEE JANGJUN and HONG JOOCHAN, among the members of GOLDEN CHILD, will remain with Woollim Entertainment.
GOLDEN CHILD debuted as an 11-member boy group in 2017, but PARK JAESEOK left the group the following year. In August, TAG, KIM JIBEOM, and CHOI BOMIN withdrew and it reorganized into a seven-member group. Now that LEE DAEYEOL, Y, BAE SEUNGMIN, BONG JAEHYUN, and KIM DONGHYUN have left, measures to officially disband will have to be taken.
