Season 2 of “SQUID GAME” broke the record for the number of viewers (the value of viewing time divided by the total broadcast time of the work) during the first week of release on Netflix.

Season 2 of the Netflix series “SQUID GAME” tells the story of a fierce battle between Kihoon (Lee Jung Jae), who returns to the game after vowing revenge, and the leader (Lee Byung Hun), who takes him in, and a real game that starts over.
Since its release on December 26, it has garnered 68 million views in four days, ranking first in the global TOP 10.
In addition, it set a record for the most viewers in its opening week and ranked seventh in Netflix’s most popular series (non-English) in its first week alone.
