Starship Entertainment released a music video for KiiiKiii’s new song “I do me” via their official YouTube channel and social media at 11 p.m. KST on February 16. It is surprising to release a music video for a new song, breaking the existing method of sequentially presenting concept photos and trailer videos.
In the music video, the five members of KiiiKiii (Lee Sol, Sui, Jiyu, Haum, and Kiya) exuded a free-spirited “GenZ beauty” against the backdrop of vast nature. They showed off their outstanding visuals and tone, and at the same time, they attracted attention with their extraordinary talents and charms that made being a rookie seem incredible.
KiiiKiii is a new group launched by Starship Entertainment for the first time in about four years since IVE in late 2021. After announcing its debut unexpectedly on the night of February 10, the group became a “problem” (not doing things in the usual order) by posting different contents on various SNS and conducting organic storytelling for each post.
In the meantime, KiiiKiii’s “I DO ME” will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. KST on February 24. Their debut album, “UNCUT GEM,” will be released on March 24.
