DRIPPIN member HWANG YUN SEONG will be joining the active military.
Woollim Entertainment announced on March 5 that “HWANG YUN SEONG will be joining the military on March 24 to fulfill his national defense obligations.” Additionally, the agency stated, “The military education college entrance ceremony is a place where a large number of soldiers and their families gather. There is no official event to avoid safety accidents caused by congestion at the venue, so fans should refrain from visiting the venue.“
The agency ended its announcement by saying, “We ask for your warm support for HWANG YUN SEONG, who will faithfully fulfill his defense obligations and return in good health.”
Born in 2000, HWANG YUN SEONG debuted as the leader of the group DRIPPIN in 2020. DRIPPIN released its fifth single, “WEEKEND,” in August of last year and performed the title track of the same name. In November of the same year, they ended their fan concert.
