FTISLAND
FTISLAND’s CHOI MIN HWAN will be making his comeback to the group through a Japanese performance.

According to an announcement to our Korean peers on the 5th, CHOI MIN HWAN will be making his comeback on stage for his performance at Osaka Festival Hall in Japan on March 9. After that, he will begin his full-fledged activities on FTISLAND’s concert stage in Japan on March 19, 22, and 23.
Earlier, LEE HONG KI had hinted at the possibility of CHOI MIN HWAN‘s comeback in FTISLAND through a fan meeting on the 2nd. “There are many people in Korea who are uncomfortable. Each person may have different thoughts, but I think we have to respect that. I will think more. So we will come back as a three-member group in Korea one day.” he said.
LEE HONG KI then stressed the need for a drummer in the team, saying, “If he did something really bad, he would take a different path without thinking, but unless he did, isn’t it different from person to person?” and hinted that he would return to overseas stages in the future, raising questions.
Starting with his Japanese performance, CHOI MIN HWAN will be working seriously with FTISLAND and will be together for future overseas shows. However, no decision has been made yet on whether he will perform on the domestic stage.
Meanwhile, CHOI MIN HWAN had a son and two daughters after marrying former LABOOM member Yulhee in 2018, but announced their divorce in December last year. It was agreed that CHOI MIN HWAN will have custody of the three children.
Afterwards, Yulhee released the transcript of a conversation in which CHOI MIN HWAN could be heard, and he temporarily suspended his activities with his group because of it. However, he was cleared of the charges due to lack of evidence.
