SEVENTEEN’s WONWOO will begin his military service on April 3.
On March 5, SEVENTEEN’s agency Pledis Entertainment announced on global fan platform Weverse that “SEVENTEEN member WONWOO will fulfill his military service obligations starting April 3.”
“Accordingly, we inform you that he will not be able to participate in the program after the start of the service, such as the festival “Tecate Pa’l Norte 2025” and the Japanese fan meeting in April. As announced in advance, he will participate in the performance “Carat Land” on March 20 and 21 and will continue to visit Carat through various contents prepared in advance.“
The agency stated, “There are no separate official events on the day of admission to the training center, and we ask that you refrain from visiting alternative service sites,” adding, “Please leave your support for WONWOO via Weverse.”
“We ask you to continue to support and love us so that WONWOO can faithfully fulfill his military obligations and return in good health,” he said.
After SEVENTEEN’s JEONGHAN joined the military last September, WONWOO becomes the third member of the group to be required to serve (S.COUPS was exempted). SEVENTEEN will hold its ninth fan meeting “SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND” at Incheon Munhak Main Stadium from March 20 to 21.
