BIG OCEAN - PARK HYUNJIN
BIG OCEAN‘s HYUNJIN, the world’s first hearing-impaired idol group, has changed his activity name to PJ.
On the afternoon of April 2nd, BIG OCEAN released Episode 02 of their own content “OCEANVIEW” on their official YouTube channel, announcing HYUNJIN’s activity name change.
In the video, released during BIG OCEAN’s first general meeting, HYUNJIN announced the business name change to PJ, saying, “This is a very important day to announce a new name.“
As for the reason for PJ’s name change, HYUNJIN explained:
« I was thinking hard. You know that PADOs are found all over the world, right? So I thought that instead of a Korean name, an English name would be more universal and easier to use everywhere. So I removed the H from my name “P, H, J” (Park Hyunjin) and chose PJ. »
BIG OCEAN will release its second mini-album “UNDERWATER” and will hold its first European tour in a total of five cities, including London and Paris.
