The “Human Vitamin” CHUU announced her return with a video teaser, a slideshow film where emotions follow one another.
The teaser video for CHUU’s third mini-album, “ONLY CRY IN THE RAIN,” was released on ATRP’s official SNS accounts on April 7th at midnight KST.
Like a slideshow, the video projects memories, with CHUU’s images intersecting one by one in a frame, capturing the viewer’s attention with a more minimalist and intuitive approach to emotions than in previous albums.
The street in the rain, the girl on her knees crying, her face turned forward, her eyes fixed on the camera. The name “CHUU” is superimposed on these moments where even the expression of tears is masked, hinting at the story hidden within and raising questions.
The teaser, combined with the pre-released ASCII art image of “The Crying Girl,” visually illustrates the narrative of the new album, titled “Suspended Sensibility.” It also encourages viewers to complement the narrative with images of CHUU crying, echoing fragments of memories and scenes, thus heightening expectations for the new concept.
Before the release of the new song, CHUU plans to hold a “Private Listening Room” at Movie Land in Seongsu-dong from the 19th to the 21st, to meet fans in advance. This will be a special moment to discover the album’s concept in three dimensions and create a private space reminiscent of a music video mood board.
In addition, CHUU’s third mini-album, “ONLY CRY IN THE RAIN,” will be released on several music platforms on April 21 at 6 p.m. KST.
