Group I-DLE will make its comeback with its 8th mini-album “WE ARE”.
Cube Entertainment released individual and group trailers for “i-identity” by the girl group I-DLE (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua) on its official social media channels on May 5.
In the video, MIYEON can’t get her bank card out because of nail art while using an ATM. She rips off the tip of her nail with the “G” to do so. MINNIE walks carefree, even after her high heel with the “G” falls off. Additionally, SOYEON removed the “G” from her car emblem, her face impassive, when she hit the wall while reversing.
YUQI then unconsciously slammed the club to the ground, though the head with the “G” on the golf club flew off. SHUHUA kicked a doorknob depicting the “G” and opened it, revealing “I-DLE.” After spending some time bored in front of the window that read “G-ID-LE,” the assembled members then announced a new beginning by smashing the “G” window.
At the end of the trailer, the phrase “We are,” the title of the eighth mini-album, appeared, sparking excitement among fans. I-DLE, who will be making its comeback after 10 months following its seventh mini-album “I SWAY” last year, will demonstrate stronger team cohesion and an expanded musical universe with its new album.
I-DLE’s eighth mini album, “WE ARE,” will be released on various music sites on May 19 at 6 PM KST.
