NCT WISH - SION
NCT WISH member SION made the first throw.

SION attended the first pitch of the “Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League 2025” at Gwangju-Kia Champions Field on May 4 at 2 PM KST, where he pitched brilliantly and cheered fervently.

That day, SION took the mound and threw the ball vigorously, to cheers and applause.
“I was both nervous and excited to throw out the first pitch of the Kia Tigers game, a team I’ve supported since I was a kid. It was a pleasure to cheer on the many spectators, including “갸린 (Gyarin) (Kia child supporters) like myself, and even though I was sad that the first pitch was canceled twice last season, I will never forget that day,” he said, expressing his affection.
Celebrating “Children’s Day,” SION wore a uniform from the collaboration with the Kia Tigers, inspired by the animated film “Catch! Teenieping,” and perfectly transformed into “SION Ping,” generating positive reactions thanks to his refreshing visuals and lively, bubbly energy. From the moment he appeared, he made headlines thanks to his social media posts.
Furthermore, when NCT WISH‘s new song, “Poppop,” began at the beginning of the fifth and final beat of the event, SION took the stage to perform a choreography, further enhancing the atmosphere and continuing to energize the crowd with enthusiasm throughout the match.

NCT WISH, the group that owns SION, made its comeback with its second mini album “POP POP” on April 14 and established themselves as the “must-have trend of 2025” by breaking its own records in all areas: first million copies sold since its debut, monthly, weekly, and daily number one on national music charts, triple wins in music streaming, number one on Apple Music’s Korean Top 100, number one on QQ Music’s Chinese weekly K-pop chart for two consecutive weeks, number one on AWA real-time in Japan, and smashing both Korean and Japanese YouTube popularity charts.
