KANG DANIEL
It was with a deep connection to his audience that KANG DANIEL performed on the French stage on May 9.

More than two years after his last performance, KANG DANIEL made his grand return to the French capital with the European leg of his “ACT” tour, at the Élysée Montmartre. Much anticipated by his fans, the artist delivered a concert as intoxicating as it was moving, combining powerful performances, sincere interactions, and a captivating setlist.
Between warm reunions and touching secrets, this Parisian evening confirmed one thing: KANG DANIEL has lost none of his unique connection with his French audience.
An Electric atmosphere from the first notes
As soon as he took the stage, the Parisian audience cheered KANG DANIEL with fervor. The opening track, “Loosing myself,” immediately set the tone: a meticulous set design and dynamic lighting. It was followed by “Outerspace” and “Runaway,” instantly immersing the audience in the artist’s universe.
A well-crafted setlist, blending energy and emotion
The atmosphere became more sensual with “Touchin” and “Color,” two tracks with sophisticated sounds that electrified the audience. Then the intensity increased with “Paranoia,” “Wasteland,” and “SOS.” KANG DANIEL, deeply inspired by his lyrics, delivered an almost visceral performance.
The suite — “Mess” and “Antidote” — is softer and allows him to reveal the full extent of his vocal sensitivity and to create a touching closeness with the audience.
A performance on edge
The energy peaks with “Parade,” “Electric shock,” “Ghost,” and “Come Back to me“… But the climax is yet to come: “Jealous,” “Supernova,” “Re8el,” “Flash,” and “Nirvana” set the stage ablaze one last time. These songs reveal a KANG DANIEL who is bolder and more assertive than ever.
The finale—”Betcho love,” “9 lives” (performed wrapped in the French flag), and “The story“—capsulates the evening with an explosion of emotion and gratitude. A carefully crafted setlist, reflecting an artist in full mastery of his craft.

A Rare closeness with the audience
It wasn’t just his stage performance that made KANG DANIEL stand out in Paris; it was also the exceptional closeness he maintained with his fans.
Throughout the concert, he took the time to interact, sharing anecdotes and secrets with sincerity. From the very first songs, he enthusiastically addressed the audience, recounting his visit to the Eiffel Tower, Montmartre, and the Sacré-Cœur the day before:
“It was beautiful, I felt the history,” he confided.
He quickly mentioned his attachment to the French capital:
“The biggest reason I wanted to come back to Paris was because of the strong energy I had last time.” (Referring to his 2023 concert.) I had such an explosive response to the show, I was blown away…”
Touched by the enthusiastic reception, he adds, “I wondered: will they still welcome me the same way? But those worries were unnecessary. Thank you for reminding me.“
Unique and warm moments
With each track, KANG DANIEL takes care to explain his choices simply:
“I’ve released at least 60 songs. I can’t sing them all, so I add, remove, and rethink the setlist at each concert. I’m always trying to change something.”
He even reveals that “Mess,” a song released the previous month, was included during the tour “especially for you.”
In a moment of complicity, he declares, “French is a sexy language,” provoking a wave of enthusiasm in the audience. He sings along to a few songs requested by fans and asks them about their favorite concept: sexy, cute, or emotional? The responses are shared… and passionate.
With affection, he reflects on his career: “It’s been almost six years since I started solo. I’ve showcased many styles and concepts. I’ve really searched for what suited me best, and what I was good at.” He concludes: “With each concert, I gain experience. I think I’ve reached the point where I can truly enjoy the stage, and your presence.“
Despite his ease, he admits: “I’m shy.” A confession that only strengthens the audience’s attachment. “Thank you for choosing to spend your time with me tonight, thank you for choosing me,” he breathes, his eyes shining.

An announcement that raises the temperature
Another highlight: the announcement of a new album, possibly as early as next month. “It’s a masterpiece, in my opinion,” he declares with pride and humility. He gives a sneak peek: an album with tropical sounds.
A few dance steps later, the room explodes with joy.
Before leaving the stage, KANG DANIEL introduces his four dancers, not forgetting to greet the backstage crew. He concludes with a souvenir photo with the audience, “Ratatouille” plush toys given by fans… and a final “thank you” in French.
A show that goes beyond music
We laughed, sang, and danced. But above all, we shared a rare moment with a sincere, generous, and deeply human artist. KANG DANIEL didn’t just give a concert: he created a bond.
