The “BTS FESTA,” a festival that unites the hearts of BTS and their fandom, ARMY, began on June 1. This annual event celebrates the group’s debut anniversary on June 13 with approximately two weeks of festivities. This year, the “BTS FESTA” returns on a larger scale with a variety of content that has fans worldwide eagerly awaiting.
Among the highlights of the “BTS FESTA,” the in-person event is undoubtedly the most anticipated. According to the official announcement posted on BTS’s social media, on June 13 and 14, over 20 booths will be set up in two halls of the KINTEX center, located in the Ilsan West district of Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. This spacious indoor venue ensures optimal comfort regardless of the weather, even with a massive turnout.
One of the main attractions will be the “ARMY BOMB PHOTO SPOT,” a central area featuring a giant version of the group’s official lightstick (ARMY Bomb), accompanied by a spectacular light show. Fans can also enjoy various spaces like the “VOICE ZONE” to listen to voice messages from the members, the TROPHY ZONE to relive the shared successes between BTS and ARMY, and the BTS LOCKER, a showcase of personal items belonging to the members.
Numerous interactive programs will enrich visitors’ experiences: a DIY ZONE to create badges or scented sachets, a COLORING WALL to color album covers, a SPOTIFY PLAYLIST featuring music selected by the members, and many gifts through various sponsored booths.
Simultaneously, exclusive online content will also be available. From June 2 to 13, BTS will release various publications such as Photos Ho Seok Jin, 앵커쟁탈전, ARMY’s day★613, 12:00 of Hoseok-Jin, and 13.06.2013 Congratulations.These contents are designed to allow fans who cannot attend in person to participate and stay connected to the event.
