JUNNY
Musician JUNNY (주니) is joining the music platform NHN Bugs’ project “essential; With Artist” as a featured performer.
His new track “Selfish” is a pop song that highlights his soft, refreshing vocals over a bright and upbeat melody. Although the lyrics stem from affection, they express the frustration of feeling unrecognized due to miscommunication—creating a compelling contrast between the song’s bitter lyrics and its lively sound.
Since his debut in 2018 with the single “THANK YOU”, JUNNY has established himself as an R&B artist with a captivating voice and strong singer-songwriter abilities. He’s developed his unique musical identity across genres like hip-hop, R&B, and soul. JUNNY has also worked with major K-pop artists such as NCT 127, NCT DREAM, IU, and KAI, showcasing his talent as a producer. Once again, he took part in writing and composing “Selfish”, further highlighting his musical skills.
On June 2, a teaser video for the song was released on the official “essential;” YouTube channel, showing JUNNY freely singing in a lush green garden, along with a short audio preview of the track—raising fans’ anticipation. The simultaneous release of a live clip alongside the track has further increased excitement around this new release.
The new song “Selfish”, performed by JUNNY as part of the “essential; With Artist” project, will be released today at 6 PM (KST) on Bugs and other major music streaming platforms in Korea.
