JIMIN’s song “Face-off”, from BTS, has officially surpassed 150 million streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform, as of June 3.

Featured as the opening track on JIMIN’s first solo album, “FACE,” “Face-off” was selected by American music media outlet Consequence of Sound as one of the “10 Best K-Pop B-Sides of the First Half of 2023.”
The site explained their choice, stating:
“In the heavily R&B-influenced moments—especially those that feel painful and melodramati, JIMIN not only shows off his signature celestial falsetto that we all know and love, but also delivers deep low tones, proving the strength of his voice.”
“Face-off”, co-written and co-composed by JIMIN himself, sincerely explores themes of doubt, confusion, and emotional struggles in relationships. His expressive vocals and heartfelt lyrics continue to resonate with listeners around the world.

Additionally, other tracks from “FACE” are also enjoying major success on Spotify:
-
The title track “Like crazy” (Korean version), the first solo song by a Korean artist to reach #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, has now amassed 1.363 billion streams.
-
“Set Me Free Pt.2”, released ahead of the album, has reached 417 million streams.
-
The English version of “Like crazy” stands at 377 million streams.
In total, the “FACE” album has now exceeded 2.563 billion streams on Spotify, cementing JIMIN’s global status as a powerhouse solo artist.
