The global debut project “BOYS II PLANET”, aiming to create a top-tier K-pop boy group, has revealed an exceptional lineup of masters who will mentor and guide the contestants.
Mnet’s “BOYS II PLANET” (directed by Kim Shin-young, Jung Woo-young, and Ko Jung-kyung), designed as a world-scale debut project, has confirmed 10 expert masters who will train and support the trainees throughout their journey. Their very first training performance — the Signal Song stage — will be revealed during a global showcase on Thursday the 12th at 6 PM (KST) via the official YouTube, TikTok, and global K-pop content platform Mnet Plus, setting fans’ hearts ablaze around the world.
In addition, while previous seasons featured expert masters and a “Planet Master,” “BOYS II PLANET” expands its universe even further by introducing a new role: the Special Idol Master, raising expectations for this season even higher.
Expert masters to guide the contestants
The expert masters will play a central role in shaping the show’s direction. They won’t just help the participants improve their skills — they’ll closely support their overall growth. On the “BOYS II PLANET K” side, the masters include LEE SEOK HOON, KINKI, and KANI.

Idols turned mentors: HANBIN and ZHANG HAO
Finally, HANBIN and ZHANG HAO of ZEROBASEONE, who debuted through Season 1 of Boys Planet, will return as Special Idol Masters. As active K-pop idols, they will serve as close, relatable mentors, offering sincere advice and support to the new generation of trainees.
