French-born artist VANS is making a striking entrance into the K-POP scene, marking the arrival of a promising new global rising star.
On June 8 at 12 PM KST, VANS will officially kick off his music career with the release of his debut single “MELODY” across various streaming platforms.
“Melody” is a mid-tempo pop track infused with R&B and soul influences. The song delicately captures the timid desire to approach a stranger you’ve fallen for at first sight. Through warm harmonies and airy synth sounds, it conveys the subtle emotions of a first love — the tension, the pull, and the heartfelt wish to get closer to someone new.
VANS’s natural, warm vocal tone controls these emotions with grace, creating a soft, almost whispered atmosphere — like a quiet confession. His refined sense of rhythm and steady vocal delivery hint at the musical potential he’s ready to explore in the future.
The single was produced by Yoo Junho, in-house producer at JMG, and co-written by my dawn, a lyricist known for working with artists like Acoustic Collabo and Jamie, adding an extra layer of artistic depth to the production.
A multi-talented French artist, VANS has built a diverse career in South Korea as a model, actor, and dancer. He has performed alongside top K-POP acts such as AKMU and ITZY, and has appeared in Netflix series like “Somebody” and “Celebrity”, as well as in films like “Confidential Assignment 2: International” and “Bogotá: City of the Lost”, solidifying his presence in the entertainment industry.
VANS’s debut single, “MELODY”, set to bring a refreshing new wave to K-POP, will be available starting June 8 at 12 PM KST on all major music streaming platforms.
