The 160 contestants of Mnet’s new project “BOYS II PLANET”, which aims to create the next K-POP icon, have finally been revealed.

Mnet’s global boy group debut project, “BOYS II PLANET”, unveiled its 160 young participants through the global K-POP content platform Mnet Plus. The project officially launched today (June 9) at 10 AM KST, kicking off with the first “Star Creator” mission: Blind Pick.
Excitement continues to grow with the announcement of the global premiere showcase of the project’s signal song, “Hola solar,” scheduled for June 12 (Thursday).
Blind Pick is the very first phase where fans get a chance to witness the skills and visuals of these future global idols. All 160 contestants are revealed without distinction between the K-Planet and C-Planet groups. This voting period will last for 48 hours, from 10 AM KST on June 9 (Monday) to 10 AM KST on June 11 (Wednesday), and anyone can participate through the Mnet Plus platform.
In addition, the 160 contestants will perform the signal song “Hola solar” during a live-streamed global showcase. As the competition heats up, their passion grows stronger, and they’re ready to show the true power of K-POP to a global audience. The Global Signal Song Showcase, where you can witness the full charm of each contestant, will stream June 12 (Thursday) at 6 PM KST on the official YouTube, TikTok, and Mnet Plus channels.

Additionally, Mnet’s “BOYS II PLANET”, which is set to shake up the global K-POP scene, will officially premiere with “BOYS II PLANET K” on July 17 (Thursday) and “BOYS II PLANET C” on July 18 (Friday).
