Cube Entertainment’s new boy group NOWZ (나우즈) is making a comeback, this time with a concept centered on youthful emotion and well-being.
On June 8, Cube Entertainment released a story film titled “Fly to the Youth” through its official channels, teasing the pre-release single from NOWZ’s very first mini-album, “IGNITION.” While the title of the single has yet to be revealed, the video, which sets the emotional tone, quickly captured fans’ attention.
In the video, the members (Hyeonbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, and Siyun) portray a raw and unfiltered summer of youth: feeling lost and incomplete when alone, yet becoming whole and alive when together. This contrast piqued viewers’ curiosity. The narrative, told through SIYUN’s perspective via subtitles, enhances the film’s cinematic quality, reminiscent of a short film.
The story film delicately and artfully conveys the group’s mysterious narrative, with a thoughtful storyline, a poetic, classical soundtrack, and lush, green natural settings. This introduction hints at a larger, cohesive storyline connecting HYEONBIN, YOON, YEONWOO, JINHYUK, and SIYUN, and builds anticipation for what’s to come.
NOWZ will release their pre-release single on June 17, ahead of the official drop of its debut mini-album, “IGNITION.”
