KANG DANIEL has joined forces with some of K-pop’s best choreographers for his title track “Episode.”
The singer KANG DANIEL collaborated with choreographer Choi Young Jun and the dance crew Auspicious Crew to create the performance for “Episode,” the lead single from his upcoming album “GLOW TO HAZE”, set to release on June 16.
Choi Young Jun is widely regarded as a living legend and one of K-pop’s most iconic choreographers. Auspicious Crew is praised for their keen sense of trends and innovative style. The “Episode” performance is a perfect blend of these two worlds: Auspicious’ stylish, modern choreography enhanced by Choi Young Jun’s precision and artistic insight.
The choreographic director explained:
“Rather than emphasizing each movement individually, we focused more on the overall mood and emotion. We also aimed to naturally highlight sides of KANG DANIEL that haven’t been seen on stage before.”
“Episode” captures the thrilling emotions of a budding romance, unfolding like a story episode. The track combines Latin rhythms, R&B sounds, and KANG DANIEL’s vocals to create a sophisticated and colorful song. It was co-composed by Davey Nate (who has worked with NCT U and SHINee), HIGHERBABY (a collaborator of SEVENTEEN), among others, with Kang Daniel himself contributing to the lyrics.
KANG DANIEL’s sixth mini-album “GLOW TO HAZE” will be released on June 16 at 6 PM KST.
